Care Home Chef

We are seeking an experienced and talented Care Home Chef to join our team. As a Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals for the residents of our care home. Your duties will include:

• Menu Planning: Develop and implement varied and balanced menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Food Preparation: Prepare all meals from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Dietary Accommodations: Accommodate special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free diets, and work closely with the care team to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee the kitchen staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Resident Engagement: Interact with residents, understand their preferences, and incorporate their feedback to enhance the dining experience.
