HGV Class 2 Driver (C Licence)

Call 4 Staff Recruitment is seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s dynamic transportation team. As a vital link in the supply chain, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to transport goods to various locations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Plan optimal routes using GPS and other navigation tools
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and working hours
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HGV driver
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks
